Jade Collective was an independent clothing brand I founded and directed from late 2021 through early 2023. Rooted in contemporary streetwear culture, the brand aimed to balance bold visual expression with accessible, everyday apparel, emphasizing inclusivity, authenticity, and wearability.
As the sole creative lead, I oversaw every aspect of the brand’s development and execution. This included graphic and apparel design, photography, visual merchandising, digital marketing, social media strategy, and overall creative direction. From concept to launch, I was responsible for building and maintaining a cohesive visual identity, producing branded content, and shaping the brand’s voice across both physical products and digital platforms.
Through Jade Collective, I gained hands-on experience in visual branding, brand storytelling, and audience engagement, while also strengthening my skills in project management, production planning, and entrepreneurship. The brand allowed me to explore how design functions within real-world constraints, from manufacturing considerations to marketing strategy, and how strong visual systems can foster meaningful connections with an audience.
In August 2023, I made the decision to close Jade Collective in order to focus on completing my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and pursuing new creative opportunities aligned with my long-term professional goals. The experience was instrumental in shaping my approach to design and creative leadership, reinforcing my belief that effective design should be intentional, narrative-driven, and emotionally resonant.
