Jade Collective was a creative outlet/project mainly centered around a clothing line that spanned from late 2021 into early 2023. The clothing brand's identity was meant to occupy a space within streetwear culture while remaining widely accessible to those not inherently into fashion. All designs, photography, and advertising linked to the brand were done solely by me. I decided to discontinue the brand around August 2023 to focus on more relevant projects. Still, I plan on returning to making clothes at some point, as it has been a consistently burning passion of mine.
JADE COLLECTIVE SS23 LOOKBOOK /// Following a shift in brand direction, a three-colorway release of basic tees featuring the reworked logomark was made available. These shirts were only available in Connecticut via the official Instagram account (now defunct). The three available colorways included forest, navy, and mocha. Each tee was screen printed onto a basic Gildan G500 blank, made of 5.3oz 100% cotton. 50 units were produced and sold out within the first month of release.
JADE COLLECTIVE SS23 SECOND RELEASE /// A project in collaboration with local supporters of the brand, this release was centered around a single tee. The tee blank used in this release was the Hanes Beefy 5180, a 100% ringspun cotton, crew neck short-sleeve tee. The front design featured an embroidered script logomark displaying "Jade", while the back design was a three-color screenprint featuring an extension of the script logomark, as well as an original artwork of a koi fish beside a lily.
MOCKUPS /// Various mockups conceived throughout the brand's lifespan, both released and unreleased alike.
